The IMAB23 – International Congress on Metal-Microbe Applications for Circular Economy will be associated to the Water Reuse Special Issue. The new developments on the chemical, molecular and biogeochemical mechanisms of microbial-mediated processes underpinned by metals will be present on this issue. It will also focus on technologies for water and waste treatment, reduction and re-utilisation, along with resource recovery and bioenergy production, to sustain competitiveness, social well-being and the type of high environmental quality standards are necessary for modern economies.
